Dust and Ashes (Complete)

Purely experimental, fairly rushed, and dangerously time-consuming. Finally, though, it’s complete. I’m not in love with it. In fact, I never intended to finish it. But I have so many unfinished stories that it bothered me to add another to the list. With that being said, it’s been a while since I last wrote an actual story. It began simply as a short piece (the first entry), and then it started evolving as I started to experiment with trying to write a story which could propel itself mostly through conversation as opposed to narration, as well as trying to dabble with non-linear storytelling. With that being said, I think this contains the most dialogue I have perhaps ever written in my life. So I actually know it gets stagnant at parts. It’s not polished, but it’s been looming over my head for quite some time so I pushed myself to end it, finally.

Ten parts/entries/episodes -whatever you want to call them. You can find them below.
